Our
Council
Archbishop Seghers Council 5011 was formed on August 20,
1960 at Immaculate
Conception
Church. The first member to sign the constitutional roll was
the Bishop of the
Fairbanks
Diocese: Most Reverend Francis D. Gleason S.J. The Council
thrived until a sudden decline in interest and eventual
inactivation in 1972. Council 5011 was reactivated in
May 1984 and has continued to grow since that time.
The Council records prior to reactivation have not been
recovered. A history of officers
and projects
from 1960 to 1972 is not available. The following is a list

sponsor/support :
Pack and Troop # 38 of the Boy Scouts of America here in
Fairbanks The Fairbanks regional KofC and Altar Servers Picnic
each summer in late June.
