Council 12431 has not organized a Prolife Event from May
2008 to April
2009. Individual Knights from our Council have participated in other
Fairbanks area events organized by other Councils and groups.
Prayers are offered at every Mass at St. Raphael church for the born and
unborn - I may find the specific wording from our Prayers and Intentions.

Council 9581, Sacred Heart Church, Wasilla
Gave a presentation after the three masses on the Fight FOCA Postcard Campaign. Included information on the ProLife movie Bella.
Gave out 950 FOCA postcards and associated material.
At the request of a local church "The Cross Roads Church" I gave them several postcards and the related material as they wanted to join our effort.
Had 250 Red Envelopes sent up from outside for the ProLife Red Envelope Campaign. These were addressed, stamped, and a ProLife message written on the back. Had 200 envelopes filled out with a return address by the people attending the various masses and mailed on March 31st to the President.
Paid for the postage stamps for all 250 envelopes.

Spearheaded in conjunction with respect for life Ministry the FOCA Postcard

2009 Pro-life Activity Report - St Juan Diego Council 12492
During the 2008/2009 period, Council 12492 involved itself in four pro-life
events.
On December 8th, the Council organized four hours of adoration before the
Blessed Sacrament at Our Lady of Guadalupe, as the Parish participated in
the National Night of Prayer for Life. Special prayers and the rosary were
said each hour of this event. Members of the parish and the public were
invited to participate in the event. The Knights organized and conducted the
Holy Hour adoration.
Members of our Council participated in the Memorial for the Unborn at the
Anchorage downtown cemetery in January of 2009. Members assisted with the
honor guard and in distributing posters and flyers.
In late January, The Knights of OLOG collected and mailed hundreds of
parishioner post cards to Alaska's congressional delegation asking that they
do not support the Freedom of Choice Act.
Our council has sponsored a 2009 K of C Convention resolution that hopes to
include the "Prayer to St. Michael" in Masses said in the Archdiocese as an
effort to combat the evil of abortion.
